Description

Cutting Edge Plant Amp

Cutting Edge Plant Amp supplies calcium in a soluble formula that optimizes passive uptake by the plant. Calcium is essential in metabolic processing of nutrients and functioning of enzymes and hormones. Calcium strengthens cell walls to improve resistance to heat stress and diseases.

Plant Amp is formulated for use in hydroponics, soilless, continuous feed, drain to waste, and soil. It can be applied at every watering in conjunction with any Cutting Edge Solutions product or other commercially available hydroponic nutrients.

pH Note: Plant Amp is derived from organic acids and will cause a pH drop to around 4 right after mixing — this is a "false" reading. It will rise on its own after 24 hours as it breaks down. It is safe to water immediately after mixing. If starting with low-pH source water (e.g. R/O water), adjust to pH 7 before adding any fertilizers.

Directions for Use:

This is a highly concentrated solution. Never mix undiluted concentrates. Add each nutrient consecutively, allowing ample time to dilute and mix. Aerate nutrient reservoirs used over periods exceeding 24 hours.

  • Shake well and measure carefully using a milliliter measuring cup.
  • If using Micro, add Micro first to water, then other nutrients.
  • After mixing, adjust pH to 4.5–6.5. If pH naturally falls within range, adjustment is not necessary.
  • Monitor ppm and EC; top off with fresh water as needed. Reservoir temperature should be 60–68°F.
  • Do not store in direct sunlight. Do not freeze.

Mixing Instructions:

For Hydroponics, Foliar Feeding, and Soil: Mix 10 ml Plant Amp per gallon of water.

For Drain-to-Waste Systems: Adjust pH of solution before adding Plant Amp. Do not adjust pH after addition.
